Gran Canaria 2010

December 2010 me and my family was on vacation to Gran Canaria, we stayed in a hotel at Bahia Feliz and went on trips almost every day so we could see the whole island.

We went to Maspalomas sand dunes and walk a while in the “desert”. And drove up on the highest mountain, Pica de las Nieves and experienced a lot of wonderful nature of the mountains narrow roads.

At Christmas December 24th we went to Puerto Rico and went on a dolphin watch and was fortuned to se lots of dolphins!

December 31th we went down to the beach at Bahia Feliz and watched the fireworks, it was great with the reflection in the water.

One day we drove around the whole island along the coast, just because we could.

I know there are a lot of lizards there but I only saw one and it wasn´t big. The dolphins was amazing to see and we didn´t just se dolphins, we saw flying fish which I didn´t expect so that was very fun!

I think is a great Island just because it has a lot of different “scenes”.  Like, white sand and palmtrees, green forest and plants but also red rocky landscape. It´s a beautiful island, whatever you want to experience Gran Canaria has it. But for me one of  the best places was just downhill from our hotel (at Bahia Feliz) at the water,where I experienced amazing sunsets every evening.
